Kim Gammelgård, somehow I get the feeling that the meaning was the latter. How does "Mac Talks" make sense? Then again, considering the all-caps no-grammer post it was contained in, I would assume that anything goes.
And I'm looking forward to an entire article on the "experiment" (Was it "Project Switch"?)
#15, I think you are the same ignorant person who doesn't read anything. He talked about Raptor article a lot last month. He said he is going to post-pone the article because it took too long and he doesn't have time right now. It will come soon.
Why the heck can't you read? Dumb people, dumb comments...
I had to laugh when reading comment 11: "MACS SUCK NO MORE MAC TALKS!" Did the author mean "Macs suck no more, Mac Talks", or did s/he mean "Macs suck, no more Mac talks"?
Almost as good as "She is cooking in the kitchen" ;-)
Keep the Macdates coming, they are fun to read and the discussions are great too.
Anand has not reported on iLife and GarageBand all for the price of $50 or it comes with a new Apple system. How much is that software worth? I am hopeful he will gives us a report on everything in his final analysis. Bill Gates was on Charlie Rose show on Wed. night. Rose had some good questions for him. In the interview, Gates stated that some of Microsoft's own people were asking: "Can we complete the scope of this project?" Then Gates said that Microsoft was now planning an interim release in 6 months, he did not give all the compents on that new release but did say that it would be a patch to fix security issues.
March 5, 2004 - Apple released another pre-release seed of Mac OS X 10.3.3 this week, posting build 7F38 late Thursday, sources said The latest developer build is Apple's fourth widespread seed of the Panther update. The seed note provided to testers was nearly identical to Apple's documentation of the previous seed, build 7F34, which the company released last week. Apple listed the same areas of change and testing suggestions, and again identified only one "known issue": that the Knowledge Base article referenced in the update's read me is a placeholder and is not online yet.
The lack of changes suggests that Version 10.3.3 is nearing public release. Sources said that the updater weighs in at just under 70MB in size.
Last week's 7F34 was preceded by builds 7F32 and 7F24; the latter was pulled due to a bug when used with the 20-inch iMac.
Please continue with your Mac investigations - you make a good and clear voice, something the entire PC and Mac-owning community needs. And I'm fascinated to see what you enjoy and don't enjoy about Macs.
I think Anand said he plugged in his PC USB mouse into the Mac and reported it worked perfectly, including the scroll wheel. OS X has native support for scroll wheels and 2-button (and more) mice.
On both my Macs and PCs, I ditched the 2-button mouse that came with them and got a "real mouse", a Logtech MX 700.
I noticed you are becoming a programmer. Please, please read a few books about user interface design. If you have sloppiest code in the world yet a good user interface, you will be doing better than 75% of the developers out there.
While not a close personal friend to most of us, we sure feel like it...i feel like i've 'grown up' on anandtech. It has been precisely that with at least my 'tech growth' (-: It may seem odd, but that's what makes this a community.
I can't believe it has been a month already. Before the Macdates end, we need to hear about MSOffice--is it a good product on the Mac? Do you like the keyboard? Can you live without a scroll mouse?
i've been following these macdates for a month and it almost scares me how people talk like anand is their close personal friend.
anyway anand good macdates. hope you enjoyed your G5 time. i think you'll find going back to XP affects your work flow but perhaps not as you have been using your laptop (XP right?) as well.
Yeah, they're engaged now, been a couple of months iirc. Anyway, looks like the early night went to pot :/ So much for being refreshed for a drive, but i'm betting he wouldn'tbe able to sleep. It should be a nice drive with freinds and the ultimate "prize" at the other end, doesn't get much better :)

Looking at your website you seem to have a pretty good handle on it, but a little more reading can't hurt.
